Gents, your proposal to remove the weight restrictions with 8 man premades is going to backfire in a big way. It will just encourage lots of assault and heavy mechs per premade. Please rethink this.

What's the point of spending resources on temporary broken fixes with promises that things will improve. I'm not paying for promises.

Second that lol. 8 person atlas premade team isnt that hard to beat, you just have to be the better premade team!!

Mixed forces will prevail, outside of some extremely coordinated groups of skilled light mech pilots. I like the idea of being able to field whatever mix of mechs my friends and I think best suits our skills and playstyle, though I would like to see the matchmaker be 'smart' enough to manage pairing teams of closer tonnage if multiple 8-man groups are in the queue at the same time.

Or, better yet, they could overhaul matchmaking along these lines:
