"But the look of the 'Mechs is only made better by the animations. The joints are all well articulated and the ball and socket joints at the hips give them a very sexy and very convincing sashay." - IGN (MW4 review)

Can we make this happen please? I know the team is currently working on dynamic feet animation to adjust to incline. Which is awesome. I log onto games just to see that ****.

But when looking at animation of some of the mechs in MWO, The slower Humanoid walkers take very convincing lumbering strides, but the word believable comes to mind... When looking at some of the chicken legs especially.

For example, looking at the cataphract from afar. Its legs make a perfect 90* with the hips, and the ground so that as it walks towards you theres a perfect rectangle the boundaries are legs, hips and ground. Its just extremely odd looking, physics defying.

PGI seems to have made it point to make mechs looks stiff when walking, but when you look at mech's getting-back-up animations, all the joints articulate more than just 90* in one plain. And its just like, well if the mech is able to move its joints like that anyways, why doesn't it use that range of motion to walk properly.
