After tomorrow's patch, pre-mades will waive a final good-bye to the pugs with a solo mind set. Days of being shot in the back by pugs, to afking, to suicidal pugs will all end tomorrow.

It has been an interesting trip, but none the less we bid you a fond farewell.

I bet 2 madcats and a Wasp that we will see two truckloads of threads full of people complaining about the fact that teams will not be balanced, then most of the "purist" will go back to synch-dropping in 4-man mode.

Because you know there will be abusing of the fact that "anything goes"

Personally i look forward to it though. Will be fun to be able to run proper tactics again without feeling like a bad person

I don't see this patch changing much for pugs.Dollar to donuts,90% of the "premades" will run a few rounds in the 8v8 Q,find out that they aren't nearly as good as they thought they were when they get trounced repeatedly, then go back to steam rolling pugs for the easy wins.

Then the rest of the premades will complain that they have to wait 15 minutes in the Q to get a match because very few people are in groups to have a challenge and fight other premades.

It's going to be interesting with weight balance out.

Team Jenner vs team Atlas. Team Jenner vs team streakcat...

And this. One must tell you that while now the loosing side were always pugs, you're going to step into their shoes and only the best will come out actually winning. Which could lead to a massive drop in EGO (and K/D, and W/L) of some fellow players. :)

What you dont see off about 10 feet out of frame in OPs picture is the iceberg that says Actually skilled teams that his ship is about to crash into and sink from.

2 weeks max and the 1337 dudes will be back in 4 mans padding their egos.

I still don't really understand why PGI didn't elect to match pre-made team sizes. That is, if you drop with a group of 4... you're forced to go against another premade group of 4.

This will largely solve all of the problems that are being faced by the masses. That will re-appear shortly after people find out that they have only been steamrolling people because of simple coordination rather than true skill.

WoW's rated battlegrounds were a beautiful example of this. There was a huge initial surge of people that thought it would be the fast way to get their currencies... but it quickly died off as people realized "holy cow" some people are way better than we are.

Are u mad?

It would seem u mad?

because I mean that's the only possible reason you could have for your post. did the big bad premade boogiemen touch you in naughty places and now you have sour grapes that they might actually be getting what they want and not have to deal with pugs anymore. I mean you might run screaming in a huff from a competitive environment you lose a couple times in but some of us are as happy to leave to a all premade envrionment as pugs are to see us go, because it will certainly pose a larger challenge than the current pug environment. And if the price i pay for it is a nice punch in the stats it will all be worth it to never have to deal with bots, afks, and tk'rs - i mean pugs still have to but when phase 2 comes in I won't, so have fun with them. :)

I wrote a 2 line explination, you wrote a thesis on how much better your life will be without the big bad afkers costing you the game at launch. You mad bro? Yeah you mad. Nothing makes a mad madder than being madded back. Mad sad.

I agree that that most of these "Ubah-skilled" players with their 1-JJ Jenners and streakcats will most likely go back to 4-man PUG-stomping when they discover they are not, in fact, god's gift to the battlefield, and all the cheesebuilds in the world won't save them from a really skilled 8-man team.

Note: If you run only one JJ on your build, you should be ashamed of your cheating exploitery

If our group turns out to be on the low end, we will not leave. We will strive to get better. CSA has been near the top of every MW league we have been in since MW2 and we will make sure that does not change.

You cant get better if you dont play the best.

(note: I believe we are very good right now, but Im sure everyone believes that)

Regardless, as long as we have 8 men online, we will be dropping as an 8 man group. If we have 2x8mans online we will be sync dropping so we can finally do some ToE's that we have had to hold off on for the last 2 months we have been openly recruiting.
