Unlikely. ECM is due next patch, 4th December... we players don't have ECM yet. (source: http://mwomercs.com/...dian-ecm-suite/)
It's strange but may be a bug. Probably file a report to support?

But, the Devs know about it so it's only a matter of time.
Thanks JT, corrected.

They don't need near-daily version changes just for that. It's a matter of finding the hole and plugging it (or in NC Soft's case, call it a feature). A fix for that kind of thing is much harder than it sounds, as anything that prevents them from using it could (and usually does) break the objects they're hacking.
A great example is the lag hack in PS2. When someone fires at a person using this, their computer fragments the outgoing packets to screw with the prediction algorithm. This makes them "Warp" around very rapidly so you literally can't hit them. This also happens if you lock onto them with guided weapons. One of the suggestions to fix it is to sever their connection as soon as it hits x latency. Of course, every time you enter a large battle, you get a brief ping spike, so everyone in large battles (or entering large battles) would get booted from the server immediately.
It does take a lot of time to figure out how to fix these issues in a way that doesn't ruin the game for legit players.
