I'm indifferent to ECM. I never relied on "lock" weapons and so ECM in itself doesnt bug me to much as an individual. However one thing I was thinking is ECM is sensitive, can only be equipeed on certain builds. So why not have it have "issues" It counters missles and Baps ect.and its only counter is a ECM counter or death.

Here's the suggestion:

Have ECM's effected by heat.

*At 70% heat have ECM "flicker" basically strobing its affects until the mech cools down below 60%.
*At 80% heat have ECM shut itself down until mech heat drops below 25%
*At 90% heat have ECM suffer shutdown plus give 25% chance of ECM short Circtuiting for the rest of the game.

Its just an idea nothing more. Seems everything else has nerfs why not this.
