In a lot of games, guilds/clans/houses w/e can create and upload their own guild banners, or cape designs etc to be displayed on their characters. Now, aside from the obvious drawback (*****) this is usually a highly sought after option.

In MWO it'd probably be something you could slap on an arm or a leg, CT etc (or as the quote above says would be AWESOME).

But yeah, people are happy enough to pay for choosing custom colours, how about the ability to use your own clans image on your mechs?

If you check out the painter, you'll notice a presently empty "Decals" tab.

I do recall reading somewhere, though I could be misremembering, that custom decals would be implemented. I would imagine they're going to be needed to be approved before you can use them in public games to prevent the obvious issue.

Failing that, they could use a "create a logo with these shapes" system like many games do for custom decals now.
