Report them all right away, you got the full PGI support for that, as they stated until Matchmaker is brought back to 8vs8...doing 2 x4man groups drop (trying to get on same side) is using a known exploit.

You will have a lot of people telling you "blabla its PGI's fault, blabla if I cant play with friends, blabla". No...report them!

I do not support this post, or the line of thinking behind it.

That is all I can politely say in response to this post.

Yeah I've seen a premade on my team throw a match to their buddies before who they were chatting with at the beginning of the match - it wasn't this obvious until the final score came up and the four of them on our team did less than 100 damage each and no kills despite being in powerful mechs and part of the same unit that defeated us. In contrast my buddy and I and the other two PUGs who actually put up a fight did well over 500 dmg each with a couple kills IIRC.

Thought about it...

That said, they really didn't do anything "illegal" or"abusive" or "exploitative"... They just showed poor form and exacerbated an already tenuous rift between PMs and PUGs.

Reporting them would have kind'a been taking it too far.

I like it when our Jade Falcon premades have landed against each other, we generally gun for our clan mates first!

You do know how both of those ended, right? They were stupid wastes of lives to no purpose.

You owe me a keyboard... Rockstar and electronic input devices do not mix! LOL!

Your statement would be correct if it's premise included offing your teammates as sacrificial lambs...

Man law. Never scratch your bro's paint.

While our team has a similar *rule* about not shooting team mates in battle, it only applies when wearing 'tags'.

In THIS game currently, there are no other game types, either kill or cap or kill and cap.

Admittedly, when we try to sync drop (be it 2 x 4 mans or 2 x 3mans), Team Mates may not be our FIRST primary target, they will be a target. We do not let our random teamies get slaughtered just because we are long term team mates on different sides of the map for THAT particular drop. We also dont get out helpful info to our 'enemy' team mates like "you've been spotted" or "a couple headed at you xxxx".

In the current arena of MWO, we have no planet to battle for or prize to grab, just C-Bills to make so we can mod up our metal beasts some more. 1 game isnt going to run us broke killing one another.

Its poor form to allow your team mates a (possibly) easy win by not shooting at them. We have no way to set up practice servers to go at one another, so we get what the server gives. If you are on opposite teams, you should support the guys you (randomly) end p with. let them know you are a 3 or 4 man and that the other team has one 2.

Last night, most of my team mates had retired fro the evening, but 2 of us were on comms. We landed in a server with a 4 man and a 2 man of the same team and they had the same on the other side (essentially 2 x 6 mans). In team chat they told us so. We followed them for a bit and then decided to break off and do what we normally do instead of their 'plan'. At the end I had 1 kill 5 assists and my team mate had 5 kills and 4 assists and we were the last 2 on the battlefield. Shortly there after we got friend invites for those guys, wanting us to join them...

Grow a backbone and say what you think, thats what the forum is for. I will not jump you, OP will not. Lets discuss?

Is 2x 4 man teams that try to get around the matchmaker a point adressed by PGI as "exploit at the moment"? Check.

Did the OP feel bad after that match? I think so, at leat enough to make a post on this forum and asking for our poins of view.

What else do we need to know? What is there to discuss?

I am fully aware of this being a gentlemen's delict. I know in TS your laugh and you have fun, and you try to make you ingame experience as good as possible. Nothing wrong with this. As long as noone else feels bad. And in this case, at least someone feels bad. So? Report'em?

And yes, they should know better, and they do...but still, PUG's tend to be faceless people in a crowd you only see for like 4-5 minutes, why try to behave around them?

And, dont make me say, that only people actually using and doing this get sweaty if I tell him to report them.

Okay...

Not going to name names but I was party to some very poor form exhibited by a PM group last night. I was just going to let it go but after brooding on it I think it needs to be exposed before they do it again to some other un-suspecting souls...

It became clear via the chat window that a larger PM was separated and ended up opposing each other in a match. (By the banter exchanged)

Watched as I and the other PUGS engaged the best we could, however it soon became apparent the PMs were in cahoots as I watched the opposing team crest the ridge (Frozen City) walk right by the assumed PM portion of my team (neither side fired a shot at each other as they passed) and base rushed me and 3 other PUGs, killing us quickly and ending the match.

In my book that was just absolute poor form ... Theses yahoos essentially sacrificed us to their PM brethren. While I'm not blind to the fact that many PM groups see us PUGs as the great unwashed / ignorant / useless field fodder... This display of contempt was just despicable and did nothing to dispel the arrogant and self-serving stigma that many PUGs view many PMs with.

What really saddens me is the fact that I've PUG saddled with a number of solid PMs that try really really hard to make us PUGs feel part of the match and this was an insult to them more than to us PUGs...

So... you guys know who you are... Understand your dirty deeds were painfully obvious and I will expose you for the drek you are if I see this happen again. (I've got all your screen names via a screen grab)

Seriously disappointing

Yah this is vary common now and has been going on for a few weeks now.
Its a cases of , if we don't get are way we will poison the game play and FOCKUP the game for all. They are nothing but spiteful little Children.
