well this is what most might take with

this build is more of the rear guard/flanker although this mech original design was suppose to be a frontline striker in MW4

yes you can squeeze a guass rifle but you will have to lose speed to carry it

this build it will work best in city fighting as it can run from cover to cover between buildings and pop out and hit then run back into cover

maybe you can use this build when the Clan Gauss is avaliable

After trying a variety of frankenmechs, I settled on something simple but deadly: Gauss+ERPPC+2xMLAS. Note that this is hard mode -- it absolutely requires good aim while running at full speed, and you better know how to escape LRM lock.

Simply put 2 ER PPCS on your shoulder and the rest is up to your taste. Learn to ridge hump by only slightly exposing your shoulder
By the time PPC is limited to 2 this is going to be top sniper
