holidays = holy daze but mostly it = $$$ because you have been trained to need to spend money for gifts because a date on the calender says to.
Swag prices that are equal to or greater than real world purchases are not going to do well IMHO. I was thinking of getting the new hero mech also but even that's a bit much. Saving my already purchased MC for better purchases.
Cant see myself spending real money for a color I can only use once on one mech either. Charge me to unlock a pallet or buy a color I can now use on all my mechs or charge me a whole lot less to paint my mech.
I agree with the OP on the added zero. Maybe the extra zero is a bug and they haven't patched it out yet? Maybe they actually think these things are worth this much?

I know probably lots of people would enjoy buying up all the hero mechs, getting mech bays, etc. But at the current prices this is pretty much impossible.
Some may think that it would be unfair to change prices now, after some have already spent real money on their items. But here is an easy fix, simply refund the person the amount of mech credits the price change would have saved them, and they will end up spending those same credits on other things. This means that nobody loses anything, prices can be dropped, and larger amounts of sales can be accomplished through the lower price points.

I posted another thread on this, pointing out that i was in no shape or form a "space poor" not going to bother with it here as any firearm pics on the interwebs devolves into OMG ZOMBIES or OMG WHY YOU NEED THOSE? (the fact that I don't need any of them was the entire point BTW)

Also when did mech bays go from 250 to 300 mc? I know PGI needs to make money, but i think smaller costs will make more people think less and just purchase stuff.
Mechbays have always been 300 MC. Those aren't really nasty, considering what you get for it.

It's rather telling the only thing I recall buying other than mech bays is the dropship. At 250 MC it's priced low enough it's an impulse buy. And I always like scale models of stuff.
Unfortunately, the new stuff is between 2-5x that price, which I am completely unable to justify to myself paying for. And that is probably a recurring issue with a lot of the player base.
Likewise, I find the current paint prices too high for how they work. I want my own livery and I'm sort of waiting to figure out what I want as one, but with the prices as they are I'd quickly go through all my MC to paint mechs ... quite ridiculous when a paintjob costs more than a Jenner.

Some folks may find the 15 bucks to be too much, but for me that's the maximum. Ideally $10 is a good range. I expect to have to pay more for mechs and useful things... just not for decorations.

MC costs need a major re-balance and it's simple to fix: Don't spend MC...
