All five of the Steiner-Davion children are young adults at this point in the story, so no, we won't see Hanse and Melissa do the nasty

The main Invading Clans. That's all. I only want to see the major powers as player factions. If there's hundreds of different factions we'll become to diluted into our own little niche and not interact with the larger community.

Counting only factions that either exist or will exist very soon, I'd really like to see the near Periphery powers (Canopus!) playable, as well as ComStar and Word of Blake.

another vote for the Magistracy of Canopus. Not only is it space Vegas, but they also manufactuer Shadowhawks and Mauraders.

I play the mechwarrior table top game and would love to see the Nova Cats show up.Other then that, there is steel wolves, seafox(who is small but a nifty little core) and Banson. Would be great to see any of them show up.

We really dont need all the silly animal clans that did not participate in the invasion. Its enough with the ones that did participate.

I honestly hope that none of the cannon mercs become a joinable faction, but rather we get a system where your created merc group can get 'sponsored' by a cannon group, much like in the campaign of MW4 Mercs. That way people can get the flavor of being attached to these cannon groups, without further complexifying the way players or organised into groups.

I actually like this idea. I originally thought it would be good to just make them a joinable faction, but perhaps different regiments, but I think it would be also pretty good to implement the sponsor system. Although, it's almost semantics.

Maybe they'll add the Taurian Concordat and the Magistracy of Canopus later as somekind of low-tech county for people who want to slug it out with tech level 1 only.

I like this also, considering there has been many threads concerning new players and giving them a chance to learn the ropes before going toe-to-toe with veteran heavy hitters.

There's quite a bit of Comstar info as a separate faction into itself scattered about the novels.

I only have about 20 or so BT novels, some of which include the storied past of Jeremiah Rose, who was once one of the Northwind Highlanders IIRC, but left them to join the Com Guards for quite some time. Fun story tidbits scattered about in that line of novels.

I think Comstar in the pre-Blake schism/pre-clan invasion would be one heck of an interesting faction. The devs would have to do it *just right* though, or they'd be hella overpowered.

I think we have enough already. The major players are all covered.

I just can't support a faction that has a pony on it's banner.

One thing you should also take note of. Many house military, mercs, heck the SLDF. All of them employed independent units.

Go look up on the wiki and the source manuals and you'll read snippets of various groups employing independent under their banner. The SLDF did this. Everyone else does as well.

Sometimes, rent a mech services work!!! :D
