[Shark Bait]

I got the PCGamer stuff a while back and that is tranferable to most of the mechs.

I purchased the Holiday Lights but those seem like you can only have them in one mech and have to purchase the lights for each of your mechs. I am afraid to unequip them and then lose them.

How do these new cockpit items work? Should I only have to purchase them once and they then should be available to all my mechs?

When you purchase the holiday lights or any of the other cockpit items you buy one item if you reset the cockpit the item goes into your inventory and you may place that item on another mech.
