TAB screen shows you Pilots and Kills - please add team Mechs in the TAB screen, so we know who is piloting what.

Make the TAB screen available in starting phase (connection and countdown), so pilots can discuss tactics while waiting for the match to start.

Add the armament of my team, f.e. 2*LRM20, 4*ML ... so we know it's an LRM Cat or a Streak Cat.

A simple thing - the TAB screen - could give us so much more tactical and strategical information... please think of it.

EDIT: This is about your own team only - I'm not talking about getting any "enemy intel" (thank you, Karl Streiger)

EDIT2: deleted my expressions "upgraded and premium"

Premium Version means...that the group leader pay MCs to get those information?
Upgraded Version means...that the group leader has to pay C-Bills to get those information?

Maybe minimum version...how ever any intel that comes free don't fit.

I'm not sure wether you're being sarcastic or not... but certainly nobody has to pay for "intel" :)

Imho this is not intel, this is basic information - what are my buddies piloting and how are they armed?

What I wanted to say is -> a list of mechs is super easy to integrate in the TAB screen, so that's what I expect as "minimum". The other things would be (very) nice to have.

Not a bad idea for pug drops, but I don't think it should be much of an issue when 8v8 comes back. Nearly all of you will be on voip/3rd party chat already.

But as a pug dropper, something like 30 mc a month to know the arms of my team wouldn't be too bad either.

Not really sarcastic. I have no problem when you may see your own teams load out. I have a problem when you see the enemy teams loadout or even mechs.

Thank you, an important point I forgot to mention. I'm speaking of my own team, not the enemy team. Don't want to see enemy intel there. Only basic information about my own team.

Yes, it would be great for any team below 8. That means 100% of the players now and I guess still >80% of the players IF team size 8 comes back. I would guess that less than 20% of the players will be able to form groups of size 8.

There should definitely be more info about what teammates are piloting. At least the basic type, but I think we should see the variant as well. Sometimes you can't see every teammate at the start, and you may never see the scouts.

This suggestion is highly appreciated!

It is always a struggle at the beginning of each match to get an overview on which mechs are on your own team.

This usually gives a very good indicator on how to behave in your own team and especially what potentially lies ahead. The own tonnage and mixture will most likely match the enemy team.

If this can be seen at start-up or at least hitting tab this would speed up things a lot in non-8-v-8.

P.S.:
The terminology could have been chosen a little bet better to prevent misunderstandings.
For everyone who is going to read this: This was not intended to be a pay-for feature and this is only the own team.
Just the wording with "upgraded" and "premium" was poorly chosen.
@Wolf: You could possibly adapt this in your initial post.

Actually I'd like to see this implemented so I can laugh at all those Ilya Morumets pilots with 2 gausses and 3 ML, in other words people that paid 5,2k MC for a unique 4X paintjob.

I agree with this idea; I came here to post the same but found this thread instead.

Perhaps the weapons loadout for each mech might not need to be placed in the tab screen (not sure if it would get cluttered with info and become distracting instead of helpful), but definitely each player's mech and its variant, so we have an idea (as stated above already). If the full weapons loadout of each mech is not practical/feasible, what if we just get an icon or some simple info for each weapon type, like a small colored square with a missile for LRMs, another for ballistics, and another for energy weapons. Perhaps even the coloring system like in MW4 (yellow for ballistics, red for energy, and green for missiles).

What I really want displayed for the team is if a mech has special, team-critical equipment, like ECM. It would make pug games easier to coordinate; it would be nice not having to ask 'do we have ECM?' at the start of each round and not getting an answer, just to see your team's scout(s) taking off before you can put your crosshairs on him to check if he's indeed carrying ECM. A simple column next to the pilot list at left, or the 'eye' ECM symbol next to the name of the player. For example, if we know we have two ECM mechs, it may allow you to quickly entertain different strategies. If you have two ECM mechs, do you want to split into two groups and flank the enemy? OR, if you're going to stay in one group but you all know that there are multiple ECM mechs, then they can spread out a bit to increase the bubble so the entire team can more easily move undetected.

This type of info really shouldn't be something you have to pay for; in thinking of my time playing single-player MW games, I equiped the weapons on my lance's mechs and so knew what they were capable on the field. It shouldn't be different here, whether pre-made, or pug. It would only make sense that the mechs on the same side had at least some casual knowledge of what the rest of the team was made up of.
