I was trying to patch to the latest version today but the patcher failed several times to complete the patch and kept exiting after it had downloaded the patch at end of the 1/3 stage.

I had to uninstall and reinstall a new copy. Even then the install failed the first time due to courrupted file download.

Anybody else had a similar experience?

Edit: Tested broadband speed is over 19Mbs download and under 11Mbs upload. I don't think it's the broadband ...

Same problem here, but for me the bar is completed and I can get into matches, but the maps won't load completely and its fairly laggy for me.

Work-around posted earlier for one known problem: some files were read-only (after a clean install from 12/2).

I've been having the same problem... just crashes after a few seconds. I unset all files/folders from read-only. Don't really wanna reinstall...

i am having the same issue. the last patch is loading...the bar gets full green and poof the interface disappears. I can hop in mid patch but non of the maps are loaded correctly and the interface keeps saying PATCHING at the top...

My internet speed is between 30-60Mbs download and normally 5.5-7Mbs upload. Speed test

I cannot successfully patch, and therefore play, this game. Needless to say I'm miffed, especially since I paid for premium time I can't use right now.

Running Windows 8, 50mbit connection.

I found another thread where someone suggested unchecking read only and applying to all, for the Mechwarrior folder. That resolved the issue.

Same happened to me, since my verison 4g is about at its limit, guess i'll have to wait till a wifi area to re-download the game

Fixed my issue.
