Uac5's Need Hotfix.

Spent lots of real money on the new hero mech so i could throw 3 uac5's in it and laugh all the way to the bank. Much to my dismay, it seems the UAC5s now permanantly jam while playing. They will still jam normally, and unjam themselves after a short period, but then at some point in the match they just stop working, and the cooldown bar stays red.

Great job with the MC sinks for the holidays PGI, but could you spend a few minutes in QA and get this fixxed please?

Had exact same problem on UAC5 today couple times, first i thought ammo exploded or something, but then i noticed its just not working at all.

can confirm that this happened to a lance mate with his gauss rifle as well. AC5's seemed to work fine on it, but damnit if i wanted 3 ac5's i'd just run my 4x.

I have this occur with AC10, after about 5 shots, they quit firing. Fortunately the work around (for AC10) is to release the trigger and depress again.

I think they just need to pull UACs right now; up until they changed the jamming mechanic, they were great. Now, well, I have 4 sitting on a shelf that I don't use.

I hope they did that on purpose. In tabletop UAC jammed permanently unless it was a rotarty UAC. A 5 second delay was a joke for a jam penalty. Now if they can add a 60m minimum range to the gauss and fix flamers I'll be happy

I bought the new hero cataphract just for triple uac5. just played my first game. 3 kills, 3 assist, 600 damage, jams functioning normally.

I'd wait for more feedback before crying too much. When they upped the jamming from 10 to 25 percent , I noticed it right off. Not so much with this

Yep, Had this happen when I switched over to uac/5 doubles for a while to test them, had 2 jams each, then a perma jam.

Yup, it is in fact perma-jamming. However, fun fact, you can chain fire 3 UAC5 non-stop without ever double tapping, which means they never jam.

I hade the same Problem with the UAC5 now.
it jams, but sometime.. after some shots it stays red and doesn't work for the reminder of the match.
without jamming it doesn't reload it quits working.
Hopefully that will be changed back soon.

What was your point? No one was saying anything about TT. They were pointing out that there is a BUG with the UACs right now. Get over yourself.

thanks im not too familiar with these terrible forums. I did get a response from a PGI employee and he instructed me to reinstall my game, so it may not be an issue with the game so much as a problem with the patcher/local files.
