Just the chumps that want to abuse it.
We have been running 2/2/2/2 the whole time, and have beat those full atlas and light teams.

We've been running 2/2/2/2 as well, only lost once (out of ~6 games) and that was to another 8 man from our same Regiment.
So.... perfectly viable still

2/2/2/2, perfectly viable. Full atlas rush / jenner rush doesn't stand a chance. Balanced builds all the way.

The better teams will incorporate a mix of classes - if you're facing a full Atlas drop, either it's a raw team, or people just playing around.

Medium mechs are the best all around mechs in the game so those 2 types of drops are just plain stupid.

We were dropping 0/4/2/2 earlier today. Was quite fun.

Mix is where its at right now, we did have some steineresque drops but overall everything has its place

Depends on the teams you're running against. 2/2/2/2 is standard, but many people are trying out the new ECM toys- so expect DDCs, Lights, and Cicadas. Also Hero Cataphracts, I've seen quite a few of them as well.
