It's from the show Zoids, the bottom two are just artwork I think, but the top picture is from the actual show. There are a couple animated series, but the first two were the best, Zoids: Chaotic Century, and Zoids: New Century Zero. They may have just been started to promote the toy models (kinda like transformers), but I loved 'em, besides it worked, I have so many zoid models

-and how customizable will it be?

Well the one Zoid on the top photo sure looks like it has either two Gauss or PPC's, on it's back, perhaps two "snout" Large Lasers. It's probably good to go as a stock variant lol.

it would probably be close to say it has two large lasers on it's back and a snub-nosed ppc in it's mouth. In the show it's mouth has a special laser called a "charged particle cannon" sounds like a PPC to me

Oh god that is NO PPC (it's to a PPC what a 10 megaton nuclear weapon is to a 500lb bomb)

Yeah, Chaotic Century was pretty good, which is probably why it's one of the few storylines that lasted more than a single season. New Century Zero was pretty meh, tbh, even if the Zero is my favorite of them; I've got one of the Tomy RZ-41 models on my desk right now

There will always be a certain nostalgia there




But yeah, Chaotic Century was still the better show by far :/

Actually, it was the cover art for a tabletop game based on the Uplift saga. Here is the cover art for all six books:













All great books of high science fiction that I recommend reading. Not so heavy on dolphin mechs as the game box art indicates, but sentient dolphins and their equipment play heavy roles, especially in Startide Rising and the Uplift Trilogy.
