Somebody posted on here a few weeks back of how they noticed that the JagerMech looks like it has an UrbanMech buried in its torso -

Well I have also noticed that the UrbanMech also makes an appearance in this 'Mech too -

Yes it is widely known that the urban mech assimilates the salvaged limbs of its enemies and evolves into new and better mechs.

I must admit, I've never seen that design until now. I am now suddenly thankful for that fact, that thing is just amazingly ugly. ;)

To me it looks like a 'Mech zombie with that out-stretched hand ;)

It should have been called a Cauldron Born :)

The classic "UrbanMech" is merely the infection form - The first stage of the transformation process begins with the Urban Mech using its AC/10 to disable an opponent, then it uses its jumpjets to pounce at the victim's torso. The small lalser is used to blast an opening into the victim's cockpit where UrbanMech injects its inside-out stomach to digest the pilot with gastric secretions. The next step is even more gruesome: The UrbanMech eats away the victim's entire Center Torso, climbs inside the dead carcass, and takes over the chassis's controls... it assimilates the opponent chassis, absorbing its power.

The JagerMech is merely the infected husk of a Rifleman, and the Duan Guang is just an infected Blackjack...

I find it rather fitting that the Urbie looks like a garbage can. ;)

The Urban mech was a heap. I have no idea who designed it but, it was terrible. I would have kitted it out with weapons better suited to defend a city like an LRM that ground vehicles and ACVs could spot for it from. back ups would be lasers meds and smalls. Cause that would make sense right? Use it to suppliment cheaper tech like ground vehicles. Make it a total support platform, not some short range gun with no armor and no speed.

The Jagermech's awful, anyway. All the speed of a heavy, armor of a light, and firepower of a kitten.

I love 'em.
