So I have this idea. Obviously a private match option would greatly assist this process; but a work around is possible. You get 16 people in chat; then hope to get everyone in an 8 person match; then you designate a camerabot, he turns off hud and zooms in to erase his cockpit and there you have it; a record of a match in a 3rd person perspective. I think you can go way beyond that as well. Sure the 15 minute window for shooting film and the process of getting your crew and actors all together is somewhat of a hassle, but we could make a real movie; mind you everything would either be an exterior shoot or a mech(s) or a view from a cockpit. Now I know there are programs that allow video capture of games (not sure what the current best one is). And of course, you will need voice actors (preferable good ones). And people willing to drive mechs around and other cameras and someone who can edit videos together. I'm just one man; but there is this thing called the Internet; where other like minded people can meet. So if this sounds like an idea that you would be interested in; please post here. I have a view ideas for a script. And I recommend if anyone else tries it; try to get yor teams to all have the same color to help viewers follow the action without a scoreboard.
