I wanna know how a Jenner could survive not one, but two direct hits to it's center torso with an AC 20, and a third hit to the left leg and still be up and running? Shouldn't the torso have been obliterated? Shouldn't the leg have been crippled? Or did they dramatically decrease the AC 20's effectiveness?

I'm just wondering, as from what I know, one shot should just about wreck a light mech, two should pulverize it.

Not to mention it took four back shots on an awesome on it's right torso to blow it up. Did I mention that those where back shots? Shouldn't two, maybe three have been required to blow up that part? Or am I just crazy?

I don't mind if it has been downgraded somehow, but I just feel for 5-7 shots a ton, it should do a little more damage. Espesually seen as it's the only weapon on my mech. Can't fit anything else on.

And before people rail on me, no. I'm not complaining. I'm just wondering... it just feels like I should be doing more damage is all.

It appears the bad netcode and hitbox detection are working against you my friend.

PGI states they are working on it..we shall see..

Jenner probably had around 30-35 points armor on the CT, and 22 points of internals. S figure it takes around 55-60 damage to punch it out unless you hit the engine, which also has 15 HP. So if you hit the CT with 2 AC20s (and the lag did not make you hit a side torso) then you took out the 35 points of armor and then did 5 points to either the engine or the internals, and 5 points was not enough to take out the equipment that you hit.

It showed damage to the center torso, and if I read the diagram right, he still had armor when I was done with him. He even still had armor on his leg after I hit that too.

So it was probably a custom mech with more armor added on... still. I thought two shots would take out a light, and one shot to a limb would take that out.

I have also had my shots go through a target and hit the wall behind them. How do I know it should have hit? I was right in there face and all I could see was them... but I somehow missed. Oh well. I made up with it in that match my shooting through another two mechs causing no damage... Yeah. That match was odd for the AC 20 shots. Everything vanished through my targets when I thought they should have hit. Probably either that lag you two are mentioning, or a glitch I happened to find. Who knows. Not complaning on that match, as my team won. Even if I did get mauled... again. :)

I dont know about Jenners but Ive witnessed on several occasions a RAVEN waltz (base) around me with 4 mlasers 2 other mechs with 3 or more mlasers ea and hardly take a scratch...I mean I was constantly hitting him 4 at once

I dont believe in the "omg they had armor there"
I call it bs expoits

please correct me if you can somehow explain 3 med mechs with above stated loadout vs any variant of one single raven circling a base that can withstand that?

Question... how did you know this jenner ended up circling the base? Though, I shot him when he was standing still, looking dumb for a moment. He backed up, I shot him again with a clean shot, then he ran forwards and I hit him in the leg. After that, he ran around with me, an Atlas and my whole team shooting at him. We here hitting, and he wasn't dropping. (We also missed a bit too... but I saw enough hits too...)

We lost that game because the jenner kept our team from capping their base. Even though our entire team (no joke) was there to kill him... Instead, they capped our base first.
