I'm having major lag/rubber-banding issues (on my own mech ONLY) since the patch on the 27th. The server "readjusts" my mech's positions FREQUENTLY to the point where I can be shooting a mech in the CT and the server decides to "adjust" me and I see I'm actually shooting a hill and he's behind me now.
Issues:- Driving anything over 60km/hr is not doable (rubber banding), its back to the closed beta unplayable for me.
- My mech turns of its own free will frequently.
- I lag, it appears, also; but Ive checked my internet and everything on my end to the point I cannot find fault on my PC. I've reinstalled three separate times since Dec 1st. (my other online games have no issues)
- Ammo based weapons firing delays are back to the closed beta 1-5seconds before the shot "registers" it should actually shoot.
I'm unsure where to post this, as I'm unsure if it's feedback (maybe a server side issue?), My client side, or a bug report. Are other people experiencing this? Is it a issue that's fixable or is it an acknowledged server-side issue? I've seen posts mentioning lag issues, but I'm unsure if it's something client side I may be able to fix which I overlooked. It's to the point I'm willing to shelve the game for a couple weeks until it's addressed. Playing in this state is not easy at the moment..
Additional info:- Average ping is 60.
- Higher mech speed while playing and the problem gets worse.
- Drivers are up-to date.
- Have enough hard-disk space etc.
- On low, medium or high graphics i have the same issue
PC:- 4GB RAM, yes it needs improvement, but the game was playable before, now its not so much...
- 2.66GHz quad core
- GTX550
- 64bit windows 7
Any help on this would be helpful, I'd like to be able to get the game back to playable levels for me. The rubber-banding is my own mech, not enemies remember. they can hit me fine, But I cant hit them because the server keeps readjusting my mechs position.
