Thank you for making it the same spot as the ready button instead of being the little button it used to be...
Please fix it so that if you are the group leader, you do not need to ready up. Its annoying to have to click outside of the social menu to click ready, then click on social now to click on Launch.
Would very much appreciated it.

Yes.
A few more things:
A few more things:
- As wakko said, you can't click ready while social is open
- The little blue button that selects the game mode is redundant - instead, make the "mode select" text clickable
- Move the menu button next to social - I had a few new players who couldn't find the options menu for the love of them because everything is all over the place

Worst UI design ever - double tasking the same button.

You guys understand that the current UI is getting an overhaul right? We are gonna get a completely new UI.

When in the social menu group screen click on your name to ready up, then click launch to launch.

I understand; however, this current patch made the UI worse than before. It's good if they want to overhaul it, I would greatly appreciate it. However, they need to improve per patch, not make it worse.
Also the recent changes has made it worse to add people as friends. Used to be able to click on a user in your group and add them. You can no longer do this.

Cant help but get the feeling that there is a backward/forward direction with features in this Beta experience - the consensus and initial reaction to this would be negative to new players. For those who are not emotionally connected to the BT/MW lore, a new players interest in the game is stymied by these issues. As a result I can't get a few whom I've introduced to MWO to come back.
