so its been some time ive been around and though i hoped for some improvement for mechlab but the things i wanted to see here werent mentioned by neither the devs nor players... or im just too blind to see it
so here are the things im missing here:
1. number of total free slots left - this may seem a minor thing but i find it usefull for when i want to switch to endo-steel or ff... a free few tons(for like better engine) or supperior armor is always nice to have
2. table with overview of all components currently on the mech like:
Structure 6,5 t 0 slots
equipment 3 t 2 slots
weapons 15 t 8 slots
ammunition 2 t 2 slots
and so on
3. Weapon grouping in mechlab... like seriously buying a new mech and then assinging weapon groups for first min or 2 and testing them if they are any good is kinda bad
4. Mech shop - like there is now a problem when you fill all your aviable slots with mechs and you feel like you want new one there is no way to get access to atleast preview mechs in store (at least not ingame). Also it would be nice if you could click on parts of the mech and it would show what can be equiped in that part of mech.
it could maybe look like this:

Yeah I'm really hoping to see some major improvements to the UI. They are planning on working on it but they haven't given much details and unfortunately we have to wait till the new year

We definitely need a way to pull back and get an overview of the mech without having to leave the Loadout section, a way to set weapon groupings and a way to see free hard points and critical slots
