With the implementation of ECM the near extinction on Artemis, BAP and even TAG has become prevalent. Most don't want to give up DPS for TAG and BAP as well as Artemis are countered 100% when any mech is under ECM. Also the cost of Artemis ammo alone considering ECM negates its effects by 100% means most people without founders mechs and premium can't even make money let alone use them as intended without always using the free 75% ammo workaround and even them you might as well remove Artemis all together. With this being a rather prevalent problem and still potentially suffering massive disadvantage even if TAG gets its boost to 750m I suggest the devs to test the following changes.
-Reduce the effect on Artemis, TAG and BAP between 50-75% down from a full 100% counter effect-
-Reduce the cost of Artemis ammo down to 150% from 200% of normal LRM/SRM ammo cost-
I think changes like this would mean people would still consider Artemis and BAP good options and even use TAG over a laser more often than whats going on now. At least this way you still get some value for how much it costs in weight, crits or Cbills to run these pieces of equipment. What do all of you think?

A quote from the Sarna wiki on the Guardian ECM: "Affected systems include Artemis IV, C3 and C3i Computer networks, and Narc Missile Beacons. A Guardian can jam a Beagle Active Probe (or its Clan equivalent), but the probe-equipped unit will be aware of the jamming." (http://www.sarna.net...rdian_ECM_Suite)
ECM is fine where it is. If a player who participates in PUGs doesn't want to give up firepower to mark targets with TAG, then that is their choice. However, if you are in group play, then TAG is still very much a viable option. If you are outside the 180m jamming radius you can mark targets for you team's LRM boats to hit, all you need is some decent skill at aiming and LOS to the target. TAG is only affected when you are within the 180m range of the ECM.

By allowing ECM to be countered by tech available on ALL mechs devalues ECM and makes it just another touch of flavor rather than the game changer that it can be.
It might need to be tweaked a little bit, but it is not overpowered.
The only changes that I can support is the extension of the TAG system to 750m, and maybe allowing BAP users to send limited target information outside of the ECM Disruption bubble.
