Nope. The Command Chair post clearly states that "The C-Bill version of coolant flushes will allow 2 uses during a match. (One cools 15%, the other cools 20%)".

MC version is ONE USE at 35% for ONE SLOT
C-Bill version is TWO USES at 35% for TWO SLOTS

Considering you can't actually equip two of the MC version, if you're in a mech that actually needs coolant flushes, the c-bill version is the clear winner.

Some folks are fixating on coolant flush, as it's the one Paul posted specifics on.

The real point, that folks who understand the situation are trying to get across, is that you must pay MC's to get an item that takes half the module space of what you can buy with C-Bills, for equivalent effects.

We've already been raging about that for an hour or two now. And all the fanboys defended it. Now it's impossible to argue. This game is ruined if this is PGI's future course for the game.

the major issue is this now just gives the PPC boats more reason to boat and more breathing room as they can one shot you, kill you, coolant flush and repeat to a second mech in a matter of seconds.

So you seem to think the C-bill one is going to give you 2 uses and dump 35% both times? You don't really believe that right?

It's use 1, 10%, use 2, 25%. Equaling the 35% of the MC one. Otherwise no one would get the MC one.

Not when the modules don't impact the game to the point of breaking. A good player running no modules will always beat a bad player running every MC module that can be bought. I don't see coolant flush being a huge game changer, and I'd assume Airstrikes would be very far from perfect.

15%+20% != 35%

100 - 35% = 65

100 - 20% = 80
80 - 15% = 68

Also, how will this work for artillery? will MC only arty do more damage than the CBill version?

Its a game. I have fun. Therefore I like it. If I continue to have fun I will continue to like it. I don't think the coolant flush will change things for me.
