yeah man. It's P2W. That it's coolant flush first isn't the issue. I don't care about coolant flush.

It's the introduction of a 'buy the basic one with in game currency, buy the better one with cash' mechanic.

PGI just jumped the shark. MMO games, especially MMO games in their early development, live or die by establishing credibility with their fans. SWG didn't fail so much because of a game rebalance as it did because it made some poor choices and destroyed its credibility. Even if later patches were considered an improvement it doesn't matter.

Once Fonzi jumped the shark the series was over. There were more episodes and people watched them but at that point it was pretty much over.

I'm the last one to go all doomsday. I'm an optimist and I do my best to believe in the best interests and intentions of people. However once you take your business model in a certain direction based on the belief that it will generate revenue it's hard, really really hard, to turn the ship the other direction again later.

ARMA III starts open alpha tomorrow. Admittedly that's some good timing.

What people are not seeing here is that if 10 heatsinks give you 30% heat drop on a tier three, it might give 20 heatsinks 60% drop in heat!

Now emagine a 6 PPC stalker with the possibility to add one extra alpha strike AND have room for tier 3 artilery and more.

MC flush provides significant advantage... I sencerely hope they dont go thru with this...
