Though looking at this in another way. Maybe they still do stand by what they said before. The coolant flushs, while a advantage in some ways, will really not be enough to win a losing fight. So, why not take advantage of the not so brights? Sell them worthless consumables while leading them in to the belief that it will effect their game play. While, this is a good marketing thing for making money, its bad in other ways... Really I would class it as a total EA move.

Yeah, I'm not touching MWO until this P2W mess gets thrown out. There are plenty of other games vying for my valuable time, and my love of the MW brand will only take them so far. This was the last damn straw.

It's actually because it invalidates heat as an issue in a team vs. team environment.

I'm encouraging everyone to go back and like this post.

I don't want to give money to a company actively trying to scam its customers.

I don't agree that they're trying to take advantage of fools. I believe they think this is a balanced addition to the game and they are wrong.

There's not a lot of ways to slice this and have PGI come out looking either decent or smart.

I dislike coolant flushing because it makes no logical sense.

How is it possible that you can flush an entire mech's coolant at the push of a button without it taking up any weight?

I am greatly disappointed in this decision.

dude come on!

Instant removal of 35% of your total heat - you tell me if that extra 90pts alpha strike is enough to win a losing fight or not...

I cannot count the times I've been in the situation that I could have killed an enemy if I had had even a 15% coolant flush instead of having to back off to cool down, or face a certain shutdown. I'm in situations like that in just about every single match I'm in.

Coolant flushes are game-changers, make no mistake about that.

Out of all the mess following the announcement, your post stuck out and I think it needs to be seen by more people.

No one else has laid it out as clearly and concisely.

This is pay-to-win.

PGI, how did you honestly **** this up? You had done so well with the game, with the purchase model, and now you've obliterated the last shred of patience from the rational, understanding portion of your playerbase and just turned this into the game we specifically asked to NEVER happen.

Yeap they put in comsumables and I'm done spending cash. Ive have afounders, purchased colors, and some hero mechs. I'm the guy you want in your game. I've got money and love battletech. However the moment you can purchase "comsumables" like colant, and other crap I'm done with the money. I'll play but I'll never spend another dime. Gl PGI your going to need it.

Okay f tards, if your going to ***** about something without giving a solution, even if it is a crappy one your worthless to the community. I do not understand how a module is P2W, maybe I dont have full context on the subject because I'm not going through 143 pages of stupid. For the current disscussion for the last 3-4 pages, if you had a one time use coolant flush that reduced heat by 10% or something of that nature, but after that your heat is increased by 15% seems like a nice counter balance. It would make using such a thing something you have to think about when and where you use rather than just something to spam until you are out.
