yes, a valid point if the weapon were reloading not (as stated) loaded and ready to fire.

There's a lot of people saying this doesn't happen. They are wrong. Just two pistol models off the top of my head with this feature are the Browning Hi Power and nearly all the popular pistols made by Walther.

Also, when you fire a pistol without a mag the slide will (on nearly all pistols) not lock back.

Just to clarify that.

At original post - wether it was tabletop or not, I think this is a great idea. It could certainly add some tense moments and hard descisions to the game:

One last AC20 shot on your trashed Hunchback, a mauled commando circling you with lasers, last two mechs on the map...

drama!
