You are pugging with some friends, have auto repair/rearm turned off, and jump into the lab to make a real quick tweak before you repair...
And end up overloading the mech. For some reason, if you go in with really busted up armor, at times, your weight can be off. It factors in armor health when it totals weight, for some reason. So. I have much few instances of working on a mech, only to have it not save. It's because you are trying to save a mech that in fact now weighs 103 tons after you switched things around...
I know this specific bug is known, but I hate the bug forums and don't want to hunt it down.
