I'm a huge fan of Rise of Flight. When that game first came out, it was a disaster. Now after a couple years of community support and a huge commitment from the development team, it is one of the best flight sims out there. And they are still going strong, still adding new content and improvements.

I voted Yes, because yes. The game is fun. There are moments of joy to be had, many moments of joy.
It's a labor of love.

HOWEVER, let's be honest, the game in current state is stripped to the bones, quite full of bugs, missing some completely basic functionalities (BTW where the **** is mouse sensitivity slider?!?!).
I'm hoping that they aren't serious about releasing the game in 2012 because it's going to be a complete fail. In my eyes this game needs at least 6 more months of hard work... After that I will be more than happy putting a few € into PBs pocket. But I shall not, if they do not get the game in shape...

Agreed... the game is really skeletal now in all ways from mechlab to game modes to controls etc... that makes me excited about its true potentials in the future. Since its really open beta and money is already coming in, I really hope they take their time to build it up rather than rush it for any specific deadline.
