I was just in a game, where i was taking pot shots at a far away enemy mech and out of the blue i get a "critical damage" warning only to realise ive had a jenner right behind me taking shots at me for what must have been the better part of 30seconds, chewing trough my rear armor and turning my center torso red.
Now before i get flamed, i am well aware that i should have payed better attention to my mechs health. But on the other hand, i got no "you are being hit" red outline warning on my hud as well as this jenner was literary right behind me and i could not hear any of its weapon fire.
Is this a bug? Is it a weird unexpected/expected byproduct of ECM? Or was this Jenner just wearing a super secret stealth ninja camo making him completely silent and making his weapon fire not indicate incoming damage on my hud?

No Damage Warning?

Had this happen to me tonight after being hit with ERPPCS from someone who was beyond my vision range (straight ahead, not left/right or behind). No cockpit shake or noise. Just went from full armor to crit damage.

There are red marks on your hud, showing where you are getting shot from, and the direction where you are getting shot from... Unless it got broken last patch, I couldn't play it yet.

Yes, i am aware that there is a red outline showing where you are getting hid on ur hud. Im saying there was none, no warning whatsoever. On top of the red outline there is also a noise that lets u know u are being hit. That did not happen either, as well as the enemy jenner being so close to me i should have heard his weapon fire with no problem, but i did not.
I did admit i had slight tunnel vision, not checking the bottom left corner of my screen where my mechs status is indicated, but i would have/should have seen the red outline in the center of my hud, heard the being shot sound and heard the enemy weapon fire right next to me with no problem. None of those indicators happened.

Were you playing with your volume off?
A Jenner would either be killing you with missiles or lasers, both pretty loud...

Nop, sound was on and working. I was hearing my weapon fire with no problem.
