Why can't I adjust mouse sensitivity in the launcher or in the game yet? That's a very basic option to have in any first person game. In fact I can't think of a first person game that doesn't let you change it.

Agreed, but might I suggest a good gaming mouse that lets you adjust sensitivity on the fly.

Yes there is, but that's not what I'm asking for. It should be in game or at least in the launcher. In fact, there should be an options in game while I'm in my mech, it's kind of silly that there aren't.

You're both missing the point of this, a person shouldn't have to buy a mouse or mess with a config to change a basic setting like mouse speed in a game like this.

C:\Games\Piranha Games\MechWarrior Online\User.cfg

Add the following lines & save;

i_mouse_smooth = 0
i_mouse_accel = 0
cl_sensitivity = 0.16
the "0.16" can be adjusted to taste, the default iirc is 1.0, this should help with your aim by reducing the mouse sensitivity.

I asked this question the first day I installed. Additionally, why can't we invert the joystick controls the same way that we can invert the mouse controls (which in and of itself seems silly)

In ask the devs (24 I think), Garth indicated that a mouse sensitivity slider was coming in an upcoming patch, and that sensitivity would dynamically adjust according to your zoom mode at that point.

I agreed with you... That yes there should be a settings button for it... However as a suggestion (to help you) that you find a gaming mouse that has the ability to adjust on the fly... Why because it's ******* useful that's why. You don't need to spend zillions of dollars either.
