Lock-on weapon boats are said to be 'no-skill' builds.
ECM is a 'no-skill' way to completely neutralise 'no-skill' builds.

Both sides of the argument are going to argue that "My preferred 'no-skill' build DOES take skill because [insert 'highly situational criteria' here]" or "That build is easily countered by [insert 'method that works on paper but does not work in practice due to a multitude of reasons' here]."

All of you "my build is better than yours because it takes skill and your build is for scrubs" people need to shut the **** up. You're not helping anyone, including yourselves.

Do you want the people who can make changes to listen to your point of view? Then stop attacking each other and put forward a rational and objective argument.

Actually a good counter to lock on weapons is cover, which some maps are bad at providing.

People need to realise that while "twitch" reflexs are a skill of sorts, they arent the ONLY skill you need to play MWO.

Omg you are a beacon of light and intelligence - oh south sayer and wise man of old., tell us how we must live. Show us the foods we may eat, and find us rivers to bathe and wash our clothes in.

Your rationality is known only by the King and his many constituants. Shall we sing you a song, or tell you tales of our warriors? Stay with us - we are not worthy!

Turns out, if you use literally any weapon that isn't lock-on missile based, most ECM mechs die really really fast.

yo dawg I heard you think SSRM2 take just as much effort as pulse lasers? ECM doesn't take any skill to use and it doesn't take any skill to counter, all it does is force SSRM/LRM users to use direct fire weaponry instead of lock on weaponry. Your skill with those weapons is uneffected.
