I got a friend interested in playing the game, but he's having trouble patching his MWO game client due to an intermittent connection.
I already have a fully updated game, so it is possible for me to give him a copy of the patches from my PC to his via USB?
If so, how do I do it?
Thank you.

Yes.. the game directory can be copied in its entirety and simply copied back to his system. He'll want two shortcuts on his desktop, one to patch and one to launch without the patcher..
"<drive>:\Games\MechWarOnline\MechWarrior Online\Bin32\MechWarriorOnline.exe" runs the pathcer..
"<drive>:\Games\MechWarOnline\MechWarrior Online\Bin32\MWOClient.exe" -nopatch
First is the shortcut created by the install, second is the one I made to launch without admin rights and without patching.
Either copy the game over to a flash drive, or burn a DVD or just get it on the same local network with sharing tools (I hate that, to be honest.. pain to set up most times). I'm showing 1.88gig as the full current size.
EDIT: Note, if he's having internet issues he will likely drop from games and hurt his team. He should probably find out what's wrong with his internet connection before he tries to play.. but that's just my opinion.
edit2: He will also want to make sure he uses the "menu" in the bottom left of the main screen and set his options and video resolution before he tries to play. I'm pretty sure your settings will move with the copy and might not be what his system needs..

You wouldn't even have to send the entire game, use the patcher log to see which files are eddited and send just those (although every .pak file will probably be modified for a large, high content patch)
