hmmm imagine an atlas with jamming modules in the middle of a fight....hahah fire support to take me down? How about i jam that target lock you are sending to those catas over the hill.

An Atlas can certainly make formidable use of some of the scouting tools. Not going to fill the same niche as an ultra fast mech, but still some of the (potential) scouting skills mentioned in the role warfare blog will be dangerous on an Atlas.

Null signature? increased accuracy for indirect fire? share enemy critical component data with teammates? Not to mention an Atlas can be nailing you with his direct fire weapon while also providing LOD and targeting for even more indirect fire to come over the hill.

Of course, an Atlas with lots of the Attack/Defend or Command skill tree skills will be just as dangerous :D
