Gauss is out of control every custom cat (both of them) is still equipped with gauss all teams weve played against are running multiple cataphracts with gaus in them to replace there out dated lighter cousin the gaus catapult and being in anything but another gauss cat or a light mech is suicide....assaults and other heavies that arent running gauss are death traps. It has been and still is ruining this game. Add a minimum range of 180 meters srsly not just myself , many others were sick of gauss cheese all over the place. It is insta win still to have a team of gauss toting mechs. A raven with gauss, a hunch with gauss, 2x gaus catapults, 2x gauss, cataphracts your dead second your in range ,and they will just camp and wait. This deplorable tactic has no balance.......add a min range please it makes sense balance wise who cares about the TT this is a competitive online simulator....dont know how many times people got to tell you devs its messed up cause it has no minimum range for cc mechs to be able to counter it effectiveley everything has to have a check and unfortunately there is no check for gauss except just hide behind a wall untill they eventually surround you and kill you or if you peek your head out focus fire and dead. Its getting dumb.

Aim for their weapons. Gauss Rifles are delicate and they also explode now.
Problem solved.

Because it makes perfect sense for a slug to pass through solid matter...

Well, it does... except that this suggests that the game would be better without the damage, explosions, and destruction that comes with a slug passing through a solid object.
I disagree.
