The best additions right now would be JagerMech and Orion for Heavies. JagerMech is a very autocannon-oriented mech, which is cool and Orion has a good all-round weaponry - needed badly in the heavy class right now.
I like the fighting style of the Quickdraw, but it can be replaced by the medium Dervish later.

For the Assault class, I wish the Banshee first. Banshee's variants will enrich a lot the game. Then, the Stalker (lot's of fun).
There are lot's of other cool mechs like Victor, Zeus and Charger (basis for a Hatamoto variant). I know, they are the same tonnage of the Awesome, but they have different roles.

These are all very common mechs and they deserve to be in the game. Of course, there is "newer" stuff, like the Caesar, Falconer, etc. but they should wait. The classics come first.

Axeman, Marauder, Caesar, Warhammer, Grasshopper, Exterminator, Black Knight, Orion, Guillotine, Cataphract, Archer, Thunderbolt, Jagermech, Crusader, Rifleman, Ostsol, Ostroc, Quickdraw. I think thats about it for this period. Pick one and start. 6 of them are that silly unseen. They all happen to be my favorites. But a Caesar? Yes. Guillotine? Yes please. But Axeman first (If only we had physical attacks)

I would absolutely love to see a jaggermech, just to be able to play with all those ballistic slots, but I feel the heavy class needs a -heavy- (aka 70-75 tons) Jaggermech would make me super happy, but I think it'd fit in better post launch.

The designs I'd most want would be:
Warhammer
Marauder
Orion

Pretty much every other mech mentioned in this thread I want to see, just post-launch.

... except for the archer. I don't understand why people love that mech so much. It's a Catapult with arm lower arm actuators and hands and 5 more tons. Whup-de-Doo.

We have MechLab, folks. Pull the JJ's out of the catapult, and strip some armor to turn those LRM 15's into LRM 20's. Congratulations, you now have the archer you wanted so badly. >_>

I like the unseens. But if we arent going to see them, then a Jagermech or Orion would be nice. I know it wasnt part of the original topic, but I would be pleased to see a Victor as the next Assault.

There's no such thing as a redundant Archer, dammit!

As for heavies I'd like to see, top of the list is the Thunderbolt. Then in no particular order Warhammer, Marauder, Crusader, Archer, Rifleman, Jagermech and Orion.

MadCat=Timberwolf=Clan, Vulture=Clan

Bushwhacker = doesn't exist until after clan invasion, and its a medium mech

What would be redundant about it? Variety is always good...the same ol, Catapult..only support mech is the Catapult...boring comes to mind there.....

I agree with you on the Warhammer though, id love to see that in game.
