Hi everbody.

I have been testing this game since closed beta. Yes it had huge issues with lower end machines. But later they did a patch. frames were much better. But the other day i wanted to see how much this game developed since the opening of OPEN beta. I went ingame.. And again this stupid FPS B.S.
Now i lowered my graphics to 1024x768 Resolution, everything is at LOW. Textures looks like from 2002 game. And when ever i turn with my mouse quickly or a battle begins it begins to LAG/ "Low frame rate"/ Mini freezes.

I can't achieve smooth gameplay no matter what i try. And my computer should be able to maintain a game like that at such low setting at minimum of 60 frames per second. I meet minimum requirements. I'm actually between minimum and recommended. But seriously, i played Battlefield 3, Crysis, Crysis 2, Witcher 2, to hell SKYRIM. Non of these games lagged like that. And i have never played with lower than max resolution or lowest settings at any of these games.

So please. If anyone knows if these is a way to play this game smoothly without turning to 800x600 resolution tell me.

Thanks

It's a known issue right now. You're not the only one seeing it.

Use the cfg file Luke. there is no other way around - all those sliders change nothing.

Most people (with a pretty damn nice/new rig) will actually get the same frame rate on ultra with 1080p, versus low on 1024x780.

Yeah, I have no idea why, but for some reason the game is pretty poorly optimized and most times depending on the map the game will simply refuse to go above 20-35 frames.

In game development, they actually clean up all the codes only when everything is finalized. Before that, codes will be poorly optimized with tons of overlapping calls weighing down performance to allow for more flexibility in development... that's just the way it is in beta guys...
