Hopefully we can get something setup if enough people are interested.

I still have MW2, MW2:Mercs, MW2:GBL, MW3, MW3:Pirate's Moon, MW4, MW4:Vengeance, MW4: Black Knight's Legacy, MW4:Mercs.
I love them all, but playing MW2 or MW2:Mercs on a newer system, after playing recent games just doesn't seem the same that it did when I was actively playing them.

Play a classic MechWarrior game that I have fond memories of, or play what's pretty much an alpha version of a new one. Which one should I choose? Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying MWO for what it is at the moment, and I hope it turns out to be a great game. But sometimes you want to revisit the past with a few extra people.

IMO, MW2:Mercenaries had the best gameplay of any iteration, but I can't go back to the graphics.

MW3 had the best campaign, by far.

I have MW4 installed on my computer right now... :)

I think about MW3 from time to time, but I remember it having some kind of bug when playing MP through a LAN. Can't remember exactly what it was. It was like one mech wouldn't show up, or the controls wouldn't work or something. Random thing. Still worked a hell of a lot better than MWO. I'd almost go for the single player campaign again. Would it run on Win 7 or do you need some kind of emulator?

As Freeride Forever asked above about MW3: You can run MW3 on Win7 if you download and install patch for which I cant remember right now. It was back it the summer when I've playes it.and there were some problems on it. I've had almost always some static error sounds, dont know why and wasent bothered by it as I ended up playing it withoit sounds. Other problem with the hame was like if i played it for too long in one session (maybe 2-3 hours) the game crashed. It was annoying time to time when I was playing longer mission and the last time game saved was in the mission briefing. Anyway it's not tthe mmost perfevt Mechwarrior game as there is no hardpoint restriction. In some missions i've tried how many LRM' you can get into like daishi and nkkeep bombarding enemies.
Anyway, I'd play MW3 anyday if there arw people interested into.

I was typing this in with a mobile phone and touch screen just isint made for typing.

Pretty sure MW3 runs on Win7 64 bit, though you might have to end the rundll32 process for the installer to show up after you execute it.

I think the last operating system MW2 runs on properly is XP through a patch.
