Of a Hero Mech Atlas with a ballistic and missile slot in each side torso. Dual AC20s for the win! Will happily shell out 7000mc for it! ;)

I had a dream of a hero Awesome. It's identical to the 8Q, but it allows for an much larger engine. You know, exactly like it was before the nerfed the engines on it and made it into a piece of crap. :(

I'm sure there are a few Hunchback and Centurion pilots out there who have similar dreams about their mechs. :)

Oh, I'm very happy with my CN9-D. But I could do with a Jenner hero mech since I refuse to buy the K and I need a third one :(
Imo we already got a hero Atlas. One of them is the only mech above Cicada-tonnage that can mount ECM after all. Just missing the C-bill bonus :)

The hero atlas model should have a integrated non-removable Eye laser of doom mounted on it's head which fires a red laser from the right eye of the atlas and if that hits a mech that has it's overall health below 75%, it instantly destroys that mech, otherwise deal 20 damage.

"AS7-K2 Atlas "Jedra" - Used by Lord Jedra Kean of Vega this variant of the Atlas removed the standard weaponry. Each arm carried a Light Gauss Rifle. The right and left torsos each carried a pair of ER Medium Lasers and a single SRM 4. The center torso carried a single ER Medium Laser. The armor protection, heat sinks, and ground performance remained identical to a standard AS7-K2."
Specs and record sheet available here.

The base AS7-K2 is created in 3083, and the "Jedra" appears in Dark Age Turning Points: Vega, which covers a period from 3133 to 3137.

That seems to be as close as canon gets to the OP's dream...

Jedra looks like a sweet loadout! Would prefer the ability to mount paired AC20s though.

Isn't the ECM Atlas already the 'Hero' Atlas? Makes every other Atlas obsolete and often determines which side wins the battle?

Nope.

Also, I pwned you with a Raven that wasn't even packing ECM.

Unfortunately, the "Jedra" itself isn't supposed to exist for another ~80 years from MWO's standpoint, and the variant that it's based on isn't suppoded to exist for another ~33 years (due to the timeline).

As an alternative, one can hope for the KGC-000 and KGC-0000 variants of the King Crab (same weight as an Atlas, and mounting dual AC/20s), assuming PGI allows 'Mechs to split their AC/20s between the side-torsos and the arms (which is needed to make the canonically-correct King Crab possible).

Either that or they can take out an actuator from each of the arms of the King Crab the same way they did with the Yen Lo Wang, thus allowing it to mount an AC20 on the arm.

Yeah, the King Crab would be nice too, if they can re-do the art. Not really a fan of how it looks right now.

Alternatively, maybe a Devastator? :) http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Devastator

But I think an Atlas with a ballistic slot in the left torso would be easier to make since they have the core model already.
