Hi!
I know this topic has been brought up multiple times in the past but I could not find an actual answer to this. Is it even possible?
There should not be an advantage that one could consider a cheat due to us being in the cockpit and thus altering the FOV giving us only more of the cockpit.
But that is basically what I want. To see more of the cockpit thus more immersion of being in a Mech. Becuase I hardly see anything from the cockpit especially in my Fav-Mech Atlas. I just see the hint of metal bars on the top und bottom of the screen but I would like to widen the FOV so that I can actually see the controls etc.

There's a cryengine command you can input, or setup to always be in effect through the cfg.

If this is not against the rules... could you point that out? I looked through the "system.cfg" but I could not figure out what to change... neither do I have any idea on how to use that cryengine command or even on how to open the console.

I don't recall the exact command, but it should be something like set_fov=X, where X is the number you want. A google search would probably do you better.

It's in the user cfg. File (usually under game pirhana games Mechwarrior online, open with notepad)
And you enter cl_fov = x //
There is a limit to to fov I'm not sure but I think its 60 and 90 60 being stock. But don't quote me on that I run mine at 80 and its pretty nice.
Eg cl_fov = 80 //
And you enter cl_fov = x //

Did that! Thanks again! Might be helpful for others. Mine is also set to 80.

I've heard of this in discussions on multi-monitor displays, that may be a good place to search for inspiration.
Edit: Slowpoke hurts itself in its confusion.
