So, I played an early version of the MWO Beta, and it worked fine with my joystick; I set it for a preset (The Saitek X52 preset, which I tweaked a bit to work with my own Saitek X45) and it worked well. I patched it up earlier today, tried it, and... It wouldn't read my joystick. I tried to rebind the axis movements, and nothing happened. Tried the buttons, same thing. I checked Windows settings, and the stick responds absolutely fine. The drivers are up to date, last I checked.
Is it just that Mechwarrior Online no longer supports the X45? Or am I missing something obvious?

Never mind... Rebooted the game, reinstalled the drivers, and it started working. Chalk one up to computer shenanigans!

So on the edge of considering a Saitek x52 with pedals or a Logitech G940. The problem is, that's a lot of money to spend when I KNOW I won't actually play the game with them given the superior accuracy of M+K, plus all the 'talk' (which I haven't followed closely) about poor joystick support. :-(

Save your money until joystick is fully and i mean fully supported, not half assed like it is currently.
