My goal is around 5-6 for each weight class, so probably around 25 mechs I will feel that my garage is sufficiently stocked.

I currently have 7. Founders Jenner, The two hero mechs, 2 Centurions, and 2 Cataphracs.

Stalker will add 3 more mechs, so 10 total when that comes out.
