You won't need to download anything, mod a file, or use a third person application. I've tested this method on multiple platforms and met with success each time. It takes less than a minute to set up, and its guaranteed to work for everyone!

It also works well when remapping the Q key 
so that you know which friendlies are in trouble and which opponents are almost dead (not to mention knowing where the nearest Atlas (aka "Meat Shield") is at.
