Sorry if this has been asked before but... how do we check our warning level? I did a quick search of the forum and couldn't figure it out. I don't think I have a warning but after that thread last night I might... the mod that locked it down said that he wasn't going to pm people like usual and "you know who you are" sounded kind of ominous. heh.

My shenanigans have annoyed moderators on other forums in the past. I just want to make sure I don't anger anyone here (or if I do... learn from it so I can avoid doing it again).

Next to your radar display is a counter that indicates the number of LRM (literally raging moderators) that are locked and tracking :)

No but seriously, I think they'd PM you and talk to you if there's a serious problem.

In short, you don't.

The thread in which you are referring is located here.

I will not go into details, but as moderators we try to keep the forums productive, respectful, and organized. Although we do not intentionally track individuals, we do have systems in place to notate offenses.

As monky stated, we normally try to PM individuals if there's a serious problem.

If it helps you any Magnificent B astard, your posts show you to be the type of individual we strive to keep as part of our community. A slight back and forth between forum users is understandable, but you stepped away from the situation with respect and maturity.

I don't think you need to worry.

Good on you.

Cheers.

Helmer....just out of couriosity , do the stars in your profile have anything to do with the systems in place and/or determining if you are the right type of individual ??

Good question Whiskey, wish I had a good answer.

I always thought it was tied into the number of "Likes" you had.

I'll see if I can find out.

Cheers.

I think it has to do directly with the 5-stars under your profile avatar when viewing a profile: When you view someone's profile, you can "rate them" by clicking on the appropriate number of stars.

From Mason Grimm

"The DOTS under a forum users name / icon are for the number of posts. It goes up at preset levels. 10 = 1 dot, 100=2 dots etc.
The STARS under a users name in his profile is what other people have rated you. An average I think.
The LIKES on a users profile is for the number of Likes you have received in total"

Cheers.

Ok.....so we have DOTS , STARS and LIKES we dump all this into the pot , along with a few secret ingredients , presto it tells someone that you are "the type of individual we strive to keep as part of our community".....yes ??

I don't mean to aggravate anyone , couriosity gets the better of me from time to time. (or the conformation there of) :)

just trying to keep the neurons moving around

I'm glad you asked. I was able to answer my own question about it, and hide my own ignorance all under the guise of "trying to help Whiskey"
