This is probably minor but listened to a podcast which talked about 3rd person view. Which seems like it could be interesting however I do like the inside cockpit because that's how I've always play'd mech games.

However I'd love to have a little mini or a bobblehead version of the mech I'm piloting sitting on my dash that I could see. Just for ornamentation or if it could even show the actual condition of the outside of the ship that'd be really neat. In EVE we liked to sit and spin our ships in the station. A little spinning bobblehead could be neat. Just an idea.
