Can we limit each pug team to only one 4 man per team? Also make it drop a 4 man only if both teams have one, otherwise its all pug vs all pug. This will stop the sync dropping and make for a better balanced game.

I run 4 man's all the time, and wouldn't mind a slightly longer launch time for this to happen. This way the game never ends up with two 4 mans vs 8 pug. Think about it PGI. More and more 8 man teams are sync dropping, because the current 8 man on 8 man gameplay is boring. It devolves down to waiting at your base, or base rushing with ecm.

I think that this is a good idea. There should be as much balance between teams as possible. The latest update to MM has really laid bare the number of people that were just in groups for pug stomping.

However, I think that the ELO rating system that they are putting into place soon might just sort this sort of thing out. Players that just roll over pugs all the time will end up with inflated ratings and find themselves facing tougher pug players. I've certainly been in some random groups that coordinated very well, and were really good.

Also, ECM will get tweaks, and strategies will adapt so that 8v8 will get better. Many pug games are also either sitting on base or rushing with ECM as well.

The best thing right now is patience. Give it more than a week (especially for a big change like ECM).

I think if you want to run a four-man, you should meet up with another four-man. Lance battles would be good for this game...

The PUGs would be purely randomly generated teams, no premades around to complain about....
