If this isnt Beta why are they trying to fix some of the bigger known bugs i.e. yellow Screen,FPS, no grid...No one is holding a gun to your head to play this game and if they are maybe just maybe and I am really hoping they will...Pull the ******** Trigger...

Somehow I find people with a few thousand posts that have been around from the start saying all their friends and even themselves have returned back to their games has more validity over 5 post dude.

This is a big issue.

like me? Who has pretty much gone back to EVE (of all games) rather than play the same stat padding, bank padding repetitive game over and over?
I pop in now and again to see whats changed and if theyve announced any plans for CW (which was supposed to be in in December)

Its open Beta. So most of the testing should be done by now.

If it was still closed beta. I could support you but open beta means we have everything done were just doing final tests.

Thats not what there doing there still testing new content now in open beta, and hoping it all works out in the end.

They havn't even split us into our factions yet, or improved the matchmaker or added the battletech universe.

Yea we have more mechs and maps now but issues with the free to play economy right now just dont cut it. Your giving to few credits, and to many people logging in starting a match, and doing nothing but sit there activating there thermal so there not kicked out. I had one match were my team solo charged groups of mechs until they died, and I'm suppose fight a hopless battle for a 87k repair bill that doesn't make sense.

Changes still need to be made. The dev are killing there own game every two weeks, and it sucks because you have members on the team that work there butts off makeing great night maps. But there no point in me playing a game when I have 4 members of my team doing nothing except finding creative ways to suicide. By shoot off weapons untill they overheat.

The matchmaker is so fubar my stats dropped from a 125% to 99% in one night of gameplay its just pointless. All the hard work and its still just a nice time waster.

When they started selling MC the product was launched.

I've pointed out before and those holding the "it's beta flag" have yet to accept it as reality.....they have never given us the tools to properly Beta this game. At all. Ever.

The days of Closed Beta when people could properly test even the slightest are long over.

This will be the state of the game until they shut the doors. The game will be in constant development until the money runs out or shut down on purpose.

It's up to you as a customer to come to terms with this and stop using Beta as a fanboi crutch in hopes of keeping the last bit of faith you have in them alive. In fact it's irresponsible as a fan to give them all this slack. If you cared about the game you would ride them for every bad BS decision they make and be furious about it.

People saying nothing about their decisions or "It's Beta" may as well be you sanctioning what they are doing.

There are plenty of games that have been around many, many, many years like this, but the excuse of "it's Beta" is long gone to any sane responsible gamer.

Will you still use the excuse 2 years from now? This is the minimum viable product they said they would launch with.

They could take that "Beta" tag off it's name tomorrow or three months from now and it wouldn't change the game, it's direction or where they plan to take it.

This is how it's going to be. Patch week after patch week rolling into each. A magic launch day won't change a thing.

lol i get it. we have plastic ones too in Australia but i never thought of it that way. it was implemented over a decade ago. im surprised your bank friend can even count.

Well, if people like you leave the game, it's also a bad sign. YOu don't need to pad your post count, but... We won't know of people like you leaving the game, because they don't advertise it on the forums. So it's basically non-information on the topic at hand.

Not that posts about leaving or friends leaving is really very useful. Thinks can easily get blown out of proportion if you treat anecdotes like stastistical data. But I am not seeing many counter-examples.

anyone leaving the game is bad. The people that leave the game who just leave and never say anything and never look back are worse though.

Hence why Im still here. If Id stopped giving a **** about this game I wouldnt still be posting

I got 20k MC with my founders pack that i spent money on, so it was launched then, i guess.

sorry, still beta. unless of course you can show me in the official Beta Rulebook that says that once they charge for something that it';s no longer beta. Or where it says that the state of software is dependent on whether it's for sale or not.

I must have an older version of the Official Beta Rulebook that only states: Its still a beta because they said so.
