I have spent untold millions of cbills, upgrading mechs to then find, I cant fit the components I wanted too, to then have to downgrade and pay again.

Currently there is no "Test build" mechanism in the game, where I can create my "Visua / virtual" build and test the various configurations before actually dishing out the cbills to create it.

So Ideas about how to overcome what is an absolute shambles of a build process.

Idea 1
Have a drag and drop GUI, that alows EVERYTHING to be dragged into the 1 visualisation in one go. None of this switching tabs to Upgrades/modules etc and having to save between switches

Idea 2
Have a customisational NON DROP "BLUEPRINT" version of a chassis, which you can add/remove components at will that cost nothing and then having done that , allow the Blueprint to be imported into the mech lab or exported so it can be emailed to other players or passed to another player in your friends listvia the GUI

any other ideas ??

Idea 2.5

A stand-alone version of the mechlab where you build your blueprints. You save into a library of blueprints which may be public/shared or private to a selected group group of friends on your Social Tab.

I think the easiest solution is to just allow the "outfitting" of ANY component that physically fits. Weight/cost should not factor until the end, when you press save. Two more things though... PLEASE list weapon stats on this interface... I'm tired of using my cheat sheet for every build. The second would be to allow the purchase of items without equipping them. I have several builds that I'm waiting for enough cash to purchase AC/20s... It would be nice if I could purchase these without having to add them to the mech at that time.

Oh wait... one more thing... I want full screen mechlab!! :P
