So I was minding my own business shooting things ineffectively with ER PPCs when I died to something that looked like a dual gauss Cataphract.
Upon entering spectator mode I was astonished to find I could not switch who I spectated. I was stuck watching some Jenner or something.
Did you seriously remove the ability to switch who you spectate? Why on god's green earth???????????????????????????????????? Seriously PGI I want to know what was going through your mind when you made this ridiculously dumb decision.

Oddly enough, no. I was switching yesterday... must've been hit by a bug? Are you sure there were other live mechs?

They also removed the ability to chat and check the score while powered down.

Still there. If you overheated then died though you cannot check score or chat while spectating.

No Faust, it is an old bug that causes parts of your UI to become unresponsive or misaligned. Was very common for me during closed beta but i have rarley seen it since and i can not really reproduce it.
But it was kind of you to ask about it in such a calm and well mannered way.

Powering down (overheat or manual) disables almost all interaction keys until you power up again.
Said effect presists through death.
Not sure if it is a bug.

Which of the trial mechs comes with ER PPC's? I cant login to check due to having an issue with having to work in the day
