I have been thinking for a while about what might work well for a hero atlas. Having read over the options available on Sarna, I have to say that none of them look much different from existing designs. Even the danielle version (3 energy on each arm) closely mirrors the existing RS variant, just adding one more laser mount is not terribly interesting.

I personally find that I enjoy ballistic weapons quite a bit. It has always bothered me that there is no Atlas version with 2 or more ballistic slots in both sides of the torso - and possibly the arms as well. If any mech should be capable of mounting dual ac-20's why not the atlas? Somehow we have a catapult squeezing dual ac-20's into its much smaller torso. I realize this was probably not intended, but it is what we have.

I suggest a hero atlas with dual ballistics in the side torso's and perhaps even put some ballistic slots in both arms as well. This would be distinctively different from the current variants and give people who appreciate ballistic slots a strong reason to purchase.

Anyone else have suggestions or thoughts for possible hero atlas setups?
